IANTD Cavern Diver Course

Learn advanced techniques for buoyancy control, line handling, and communication into the light penetration limits. Develop the skills and knowledge necessary to safely explore and appreciate the mesmerizing underwater caverns.

This Program is the foundation to start in the world of overhead diving as you will develop skills and techniques that you will use at all levels until you become a cave diver.

It is necessary to have solid foundations in diving to successfully complete this course. These solid foundations provide a strong base of skills and knowledge that ensure safety and enhance your experience during training. Proper buoyancy control, breathing techniques, equipment management, and underwater communication are some of the key foundations we will focus on. Practicing and mastering these skills will greatly contribute to your success in the course.

This program can be undertaken alone or combined with Sidemout, Intro to Cave, or even complete a full program up to Cave Diver.

Enrollment program requirements.
  • Certifications requirements: Advanced Open Water.
  • A minimum of 25 logged dives
  • Age Reguirement: Must be at least 15 years of age.
  • We recommend being proficient in the use of either back-mounted or, as a preference, sidemount double cylinder setup.

  • Theory Sessions.
  • Land drill sessions.
  • Confined Water Sessions.
  • Open Water Sessions.
Program Duration.
  • A minimum of 4 (four) days to complete.
